if i love you, you can have everything. you can have my time, my devotion, my ass, my money, my family, my dog, my dog's money, my dog's time - everything. if i love you i will carry for you all your pain, i will assume for you all your debts (in every definition of the word), i will protect you from your own insecurity, i will project upon you all sorts of good qualities that you have never actualy cultivated in yourself and i will buy christmas presents for you entire family. i will give you the sun and the rain, and if they are not available, i will give you a sun check and a rain check. i will give you all this and more, until i get so exhausted and depleted that the only way i can recover is by becoming infatuated by someone else.

i do not rely these facts with pride but this is how its always how its been.

Something I thought I'd never do.

+ I'm currently backpacking across Australia and will be for the next year. I am still accepting friends but I might not be able to comment as often as I did when I was home in England. My journal may also go a few days/weeks without being up dated, but I will when I can.

+ Please only add me if you intend to comment on my journal, I will take the time to comment on yours so it's only fair.

My friends ended up coming on and making LJs, so the point was lost.

i totally understand you protecting the LJ from real life. i'm currently in the process of doing so. unfortunately, i made the mistake of friending my cousins, but thank goodness for custom friends list!
